About Us
Tiffins was opened in November 2003 and is owned and run by Nick and Jay Jethwa. We have over 3 decades of various types of business experience between us.
Disappointed with some of the types of 'indian' food on the market, we decided to put our catering experince to use, to open something unique in Bristol.
Originally from Gujarat (the western state of India), we decided to cook real Gujarati food. Gujarat has a very high vegetarian population and it's food is mainly spicy and uses less oil.
Our style of cooking requires us to cook each and every dish individually. Once it's cooked we chill it down and then it's displayed in front of you to choose.
We have a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as a chicken dish and a lamb dish. We don't use any ghee (Indian butter) or artificial colouring or flavouring.
The vegetarian dishes change every day and it's all cooked fresh daily in our open plan kitchen. We always maintain the best in quality both in terms of high standards and good value for money. A professional service and customer satisfaction are of utmost importance.
